Twenty-Four Hours in a Woman's Life (TV) (1961) follows the story of Helen Lester, who finds herself deeply in love with a charismatic playboy she has only known for a single day. This man, with a past involving jail time for check fraud, has vowed to reform, but Helen's conservative family is strongly opposed to their relationship. However, Clare Lester, Helen's grandmother, offers a unique perspective. She tells Helen that she is free to pursue her love, but only after hearing Clare's own tale of a transformative day from her past, involving a man she once tried to change.
