Semi-Sweet (2012) follows the story of a determined young woman who is on a mission to protect her company from a hostile takeover orchestrated by a ruthless figure known as "The Jackal." To secure a crucial client, she is informed that she must appear to be in a committed relationship. In a hasty decision, she enlists the help of a model to pose as her partner. However, a mix-up leads her to mistakenly hire the first appealing man who walks into her office, and the two unexpectedly form a genuine connection. As the competition for the contract intensifies, she finds herself pitted against an ex-boyfriend, leading to a surprising revelation about her new partner's true identity.
