The Sweet Sound of Death (1965) follows the tale of Pablo, deeply in love with Dominique, with whom he plans to wed. Dominique takes Pablo to a cemetery, persuading him that if either of them passes away, the other will return to assist in preparing for the afterlife. Dominique then departs for a vacation in Bretagna and tragically dies during her journey. The following day, Pablo receives a mysterious call—it is Dominique.
