Garden Party (2008) follows the intertwining lives of several characters on the gritty side of Sunset Boulevard. APRIL, a teenage beauty, strives to make ends meet without compromising her values. SALLY ST. CLAIR, a successful realtor with a secret past, takes notice of APRIL and her assistant, NATHAN, a dancer from Nebraska seeking fame. NATHAN's lack of confidence leads him to menial tasks, including late-night photocopying for Sally and her clients. TODD, a porn-addicted artist, seeks adventure and help from Sally to escape his sexless relationship. SAMMY, a street-smart musician, crosses paths with NATHAN, offering a glimmer of hope and potential romance. When a local erotic photographer connects APRIL and NATHAN, a chain of unexpected encounters unfolds, transforming each character in unexpected ways.
