The story, called "comical tragedy," is full of topics such as cartoon-like production, fast-paced images and musical scenes, and special sound of deep bass, making it an exceptional hit for a student movie. The starring Hiromi Yano was greeted like an idol, and as a literal 8mm masterpiece, it had such an influence that it became established as one of the styles of subsequent student films.
