After the Taliban disperse a women's demonstration, Suraya tells her granddaughter the story of Sima, a great singer and friend in Afghanistan in the 1970s. Thus begins this historical drama which, in that inflammable context, portrays a friendship between two young women: one, an activist and from a well-to-do family, the other, conservative and from a humble background; one will devote herself to politics and the other to music, but both will be used by those thirsty for power.
