User Friendly (1990) follows a peculiar chase for a small wooden dog, believed by many to hold the secret to eternal life. Miranda, a frenzied cosmetics mogul, sees it as a fortune, while a group of elderly individuals, guided by two eccentric doctors, believe it holds the key to youth. When Augusta, a woman with a unique perspective, brings the statue home, her ex-boyfriend Billy is drawn into a bizarre journey through the suburbs. Augusta, accompanied by her loyal bull terrier Cyclops, fails to inform Billy about the others who are also after the statue. Their adventure includes witnessing peculiar sexual escapades, shearing half a sheep, being kidnapped by zombies wielding clubs, and facing threats from a giant hypodermic syringe. The climax at the Balmoral Bowling Club unfolds chaotically, with the dog ensuring everyone gets what they were seeking, albeit not in the way they anticipated.
