Before Sunset (2004)

Before Sunset (2004) follows the reunion of Jesse and Celine, two individuals who initially crossed paths in Vienna and shared an unforgettable night exploring the city's deserted streets. Nearly a decade later, fate brings them together again, this time in the romantic city of Paris. Jesse and Celine's first encounter occurred on a train, where they instantly connected and spent fourteen hours together before parting ways at Vienna's central station, vowing to reunite six months later. However, nine years have passed since their initial meeting. Jesse is now on the final leg of a book tour promoting his latest novel when he unexpectedly sees Celine in the audience at a Parisian bookstore. It is revealed that Celine has been residing in Paris for some time, while Jesse lives in New York. Jesse promptly decides to forgo his remaining commitments to spend the day with Celine, wandering through Paris's charming cafés, parks, and along the Seine River. As they reconnect, they quickly rediscover their old bond. Despite the passage of time, they find that their connection remains as strong as ever, and they have much to discuss, much like they did nine years ago.
