Me (S)

This dark material was originally intended to be used in GALLIVANT. Sequences from a ‘performance’ that documents the mental breakdown of the artist-as-half-wit, were included in an earlier version of the film. However ultimately removed by proxy. As a means of exorcising the past I completed the film in 2000 and it now tours Britain and Canada as part of a UK/Canadian Film-Video Exchange. Shot by Gary Parker on a cold desolate winter’s day. This is a five minute piece about me, the twit gone drank : a vehicle for the dissemination of my own confusion and pomp, full of the irony : a centreless web of desires and beliefs, dim : all muddleup. I find myself confabulating more and more and it is the me that makes me sick and convinces the self that severe psychotic disturbance, intellectual perversion and the lookatmesyndome has swept me off of my stupid little feet. Dysphonic, insecure and wearing only dirty pajama bottoms.
