Waiting for Someone

A study of loneliness, love, and imperfect relationships. A small town. Louis, father, divorcee, and bar manager, feels more than affection for Sabine. They often get together during the afternoon in a hotel room. He pays for the pleasure. She also has other clients. Secretive, he confides his pain to no one, not even to his sister Agnès, with whom he is nevertheless close. A teacher, she has been married to Jean-Philippe for a long time. Love, complicity, and years spent together don’t prevent moments of melancholy. One day, Agnès encounters Stéphane. Now a young man, she knew him when they were children. He also hides a dark secret.
