Paul à Québec (2015) follows the story of a talented cartoonist named Paul, who resides in Montreal during the summer of 1999 with his girlfriend and their young daughter. Paul is part of the lively and expansive Beaulieu family, which includes numerous siblings, grandchildren, and the beloved patriarch, Roland. Roland frequently reminds Paul of his unfulfilled promise to marry his daughter. As Roland's health deteriorates, the family rallies together in support. Paul, in a unique expression of his affection, creates several sketches of his ailing father-in-law, capturing the essence of their bond and the family's collective strength.
