Irina Palm (2007) follows the story of Maggie, a 50-year-old widow who remains devoted to her late husband. She is in dire need of funds to cover her ailing grandson's medical expenses. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to secure employment, Maggie finds herself wandering the streets of London's Soho district. Her attention is drawn to a small advertisement in the window of a establishment named "Sexy World," which reads: "Hostess wanted." In her desperation, Maggie enters the shop without fully comprehending the nature of the job. Micky, the proprietor, is initially taken aback but becomes intrigued by Maggie's unique presence. He decides to hire her, and under the alias Irina Palm, Maggie bravely encounters her first anonymous clients. Micky watches over his new recruit, becoming captivated by Maggie's dedication to performing her duties to the best of her ability.
