Beneath the Blue (2009) follows Alyssa Harker, an 18-year-old dedicated to studying dolphins alongside her renowned scientist father, Hawk. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she forms a romantic connection with Craig, an enigmatic tourist who harbors a hidden identity as a Naval officer. Alyssa's world is shattered when Craig's covert mission endangers the research center and Rasca, a wild dolphin with whom Alyssa shares a profound bond. The narrative unfolds into a web of espionage, conspiracy, and abduction, as Alyssa's loyalties are put to the test. The story culminates in a grim discovery of a marine mammal graveyard near the infamous site of US Navy Sonar trials. Alyssa and Hawk join forces to rescue Rasca and protect other endangered marine life, while Craig grapples with a moral crisis that will ultimately determine his loyalties.
