Austin & Ally (TV Series)

Set in Miami, Austin & Ally is a multi-camera comedy about the unique relationship between an aspiring teen songwriter with stage fright named Ally, and an aspiring singer named Austin who becomes a celebrity overnight after performing one of Ally's songs online. The series has been described as a "pint-sized" version of HBO's hit comedy-drama Entourage. The series follows the unusual partnership formed by two very different musicians: extroverted singer and instrumentalist Austin Moon, who is constantly getting into trouble, and serious and talented songwriter Ally Dawson, who can sing but has an extreme case of stage fright. Austin becomes famous after he secretly records one of Ally's songs, creates a video for it with the help of his friend Dez, and posts it on the internet. However, he did so without Ally's knowledge, and once Ally, convinced by her friend Trish, takes credit for her song, Austin must convince her to write more songs for him. The two agree to work together and struggle with how to keep Austin's newfound fame and profit from it, with the help of Trish and Dez, while all four keep up with their high school classes and everyday lives.
