Midnight (2021) follows the harrowing journey of Kyeong-mi, a young woman with a hearing impairment who finds herself in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a ruthless killer. Living with her mother and working at a customer call center, Kyeong-mi's life takes a terrifying turn when she witnesses a brutal attack on another young woman, So-jung, by the psychopathic executioner Do-sik. After So-jung is betrayed and left for dead, Kyeong-mi becomes the next target of Do-sik's sinister plans. The film delves into the desperate struggle for survival as Kyeong-mi must use her wits and resilience to outmaneuver the relentless killer.
