Dr. Charlie Keegan is a partner in a flourishing medical practice, which thrives on the bureaucracy of the insurance system and naivete of his elderly patients. His carefree lifestyle has led him to getting caught and is reprimanded for taking full advantage of his senior citizen clientele. In order to get his license back, he must work for six months at a nursing home. While there, he discovers a former used car dealer running a prescription drug scam out of the home, a love affair between a mysterious indigent and her tough-as-nails suitor and a host of characters that affect him in different ways. The most notable affect comes from Jill, the compassionate and beautiful night nurse who believes in the power of love and the strength of loyalty. After dealing with a drunken doctor, an overbearing head nurse, a socialite daughter, and a kidnapping. Charlie emerges with a new view on life, love, and himself.
