Smoky (1966) follows the journey of a cowboy who discovers and tames a magnificent wild stallion, forging an unbreakable bond with the horse. The cowboy's brother, desperate to settle debts, trades the horse and attempts to remove it from its enclosure. The horse, sensing danger, resists and tragically causes the brother's demise. Meanwhile, the cowboy is drafted into the military, leading to the separation of the horse and its rider. The horse is then sold to a rodeo, and upon the cowboy's return from service, he embarks on a quest to reunite with his cherished companion.
