Curse of the Fly (1965) follows the descendants of a scientist who, in a tragic turn of events, merged with a fly during an experiment with a matter transportation device. The narrative centers around Henri Delambre, portrayed by Brian Donlevy, and his two grandsons. Henri is determined to refine the machine, while his sons aspire to leave the scientific legacy behind and pursue ordinary lives. The eldest son, Martin, decides to marry a woman who has recently escaped from a mental institution following the death of her parents. Despite initial resistance, Henri eventually accepts the union. The family attempts to coexist harmoniously, but their lives take a dark turn when the new bride uncovers the horrific results of the botched experiments. As the police close in on the lab while searching for Martin's wife, the family desperately tries to escape using the transporter, leading to a chaotic and disastrous outcome.
