Comedy of Innocence (2000) follows the story of Camille, a young boy who celebrates his ninth birthday with a unique plan. He has secretly filmed various intriguing scenes, including a cat's tail darting away, a window, and a mysterious veiled woman's face. Camille's intention is to reveal these videos to his parents. Later in the day, Camille's mother, Ariane, encounters him in the park, where he seems troubled. Leaning against a tree with his gaze downward, Camille expresses a desire to return to his "real home" and his "real mother," adding a layer of complexity to the unfolding narrative.
