The week of the 20th anniversary of the genocide, a group of volunteers traveled to Rwanda with different charity organizations, led by two volunteers: one with experience and another fuelled by idealism. Despite their differing methods, each one strives to offer the very best to a population with a still open wound. Two young Rwandans support the activists throughout their stay in the country. They are the children of a generation once at odds. And much like Rwanda, they live their lives as though nothing has every happened, yet at the same time, they cannot erase the marks of a conflict that still weighs them down. Rwanda Project is a purple-colored journey.
