B.A.P.S. (1997) follows the journey of two ambitious and cunning women from Georgia, often referred to as "Black American Princesses," who travel to Hollywood with dreams of making it big. Their initial goal is to secure a spot in a music video to earn some quick cash. However, their fortunes take an unexpected turn when they cross paths with the sleazy nephew of the music video director. This nephew entangles them in a deceptive scheme aimed at convincing his wealthy employer that one of the women is the granddaughter of his long-lost love. The plot thickens as the duo navigates the glitz and glamour of Hollywood while trying to outsmart the con artist and secure their own piece of the pie.
