Mumford

A man gives up his job with the IRS and relocates to a small town named Mumford of which he takes the name and passes it off as his own by being a psychologist. Having only set up practice for a few months, he quickly becomes the most popular psychologist in town. His neurotic clients include a local skater dude (Jason Lee), a mild pharmacist (Pruitt Taylor Vince), and a wealthy housewife (Mary McDonnell). But the patient most on Mumford's mind and heart is Sofie (Hope Davis), an unhappy young woman with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Mumford decides to give his patients no holds barred advice, which changes his life and that of his patients and the residents of Mumford.
