The Children of the Marshland (1999) is a heartwarming and nostalgic drama that delves into the lives of a tight-knit group of friends in a tranquil marshland community in France. The story unfolds through the memories of a young girl named Cri-Cri, who reminiscences about her childhood. Both men, along with their friend Mr. Richard (Michel Serrault), who transformed a junk business into a thriving metal foundry, continue to be haunted by their experiences from World War I.
