Little Shop of Horrors (1986) follows the story of Seymour Krelborn, a shy and awkward orphan employed at a struggling flower shop on the grimy streets of Skid Row. Seymour has a secret admiration for his co-worker Audrey Fulquard, but his days are filled with the harsh words of their boss, Mr. Mushnik. One fateful day, Seymour discovers an unusual and unidentified plant, which he affectionately names Audrey II. This peculiar plant has an unusual appetite for blood and begins to demand more and more from Seymour. As the plant's hunger grows, Seymour finds himself in a desperate situation, feeding Audrey II's insatiable appetite with the help of Audrey's abusive dentist boyfriend and later, Mushnik, who witnesses the grim fate of Audrey's ex. The question remains: will Audrey II's thirst for blood lead to global domination, or can Seymour and Audrey find a way to stop the plant's reign of terror?
