Vigilante (2023) follows the story of Kim Ji Yong, a man driven by a tragic past. As a child, he witnessed his mother's brutal murder by a thug, who was later sentenced to a mere 3.5 years in prison. Now an adult, Kim Ji Yong seeks justice by taking the law into his own hands, targeting criminals who have received lenient sentences and continue their criminal activities. By day, he is a dedicated student at the police college, but by night, he transforms into a vigilante, meting out his own form of justice. Assisted by Jo Gang Ok, who admires his cause, Kim Ji Yong operates under the alias 'Vigilante.' Meanwhile, Jo Heon, the head of a police investigation team, is hot on the trail of the elusive vigilante, determined to bring him to justice.
