Too Much Family! (2021) unfolds in a quaint town in Abruzzo during February 2020, as the COVID-19 crisis is just beginning to take hold in Italy. Alfredo and Felicetta, a happily married couple for three decades, have a blended family consisting of sons Filippo and Giacomo, and daughter Maria Concetta. The adult children have moved away, leaving Maria Concetta as the only one still living at home, preparing to marry a prosperous local olive farmer, Marcello. Alfredo and Felicetta, now retired, plan to share their decision to relocate to Portugal with the family during Alfredo's birthday celebration, where all family members gather. However, the seemingly harmonious family dynamic quickly unravels as the three children, each with their own motivations, disrupt the couple's well-laid plans.
