Flashpoint (1984) follows the story of two Texas border patrol officers who stumble upon a jeep hidden in the desert for two decades. Inside, they discover a skeleton, a rifle equipped with a scope, and a box containing $800,000 in cash. Initially deciding to keep the money, they discreetly investigate the information they uncover. Their findings soon attract the attention of federal agents, who seem to be frantically covering up a connection between the jeep and the JFK assassination. As the Feds scramble to eliminate anyone linked to the jeep, the officers find themselves in a dangerous web of conspiracy and deception.
