Karim and Sala

Karim is a 12-year-old boy who lives with his mother Aïsha and his uncle Issa. After the mysterious disappearance of her husband, Aïsha had to marry one of Karim’s uncles who turns out to be a real tyrant. The boy works in the fields and sells chickens and calabashes at the markets. Time passes, until the day Sala comes to Karim’s village to spend her holidays. Sala is a 12-year-old girl who lives in town with no worries. Despite their differences, and despite their age, the two young people will learn to love each other.
