Daniel is a young journalist given the task of looking into a presumed suicide case. The fact that his own father took his life when he was a child means that Daniel is obsessed with the subject. He is assigned a photographer to accompany him in his investigation. Marcela is elusive, somewhat mysterious and distant. While the investigation progresses in a surprising direction, Daniel realises that he has fallen in love. Little signs and gestures suggest that she too is drawn to him. Beneath the surface of their everyday working routine and the omnipresent weight of the suicide, the something struggling to grow between them nourishes an atmosphere of stress and mistrust.
