Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Right Price (TV) (1959) follows the story of Jocelyn and Mort Barnhardt, a married couple who also serve as business partners. Their relationship is strained by constant arguments over who contributes more to their enterprise. One evening, their home is invaded by a burglar who meticulously searches for their valuables. When Mort confronts the intruder, he encounters a talkative criminal who proposes a scheme: if they collaborate, they can secure a substantial insurance payout. Mort, feeling he has little of value, suggests that the burglar eliminate Jocelyn. However, the plan does not unfold as anticipated.
