Late one night, Zoey Drayden receives a disturbing phone call from a distressed woman pleading fro help... but before Zoey can identify the caller the line is disconnected. Soon after Zoey begins to experience haunting visions of a young woman desperately fighting to escape an unknown danger. Driven by forces unknown, she begins to investigate and soon realizes that the woman in her vision is a fellow student, Janette Collier, feared to be the latest victim in a series of unsolved disappearances. Hoping that what she knows might lead to the girls rescue Zoey discloses to the police detectives, Michael Keegan and Frank Stepnoski, that she possesses a mental link to the abducted girl. She reveals startling details about the case that only they and the abductor could know, Unwittingly implicating herself, Zoey becomes the sole suspect, and she is arrested. Detective Keegan, who not only believes Zoey is innocent, but relies on her psychic vision to lead him to Jannette. But the clock is ticking... and if Janette is not quickly rescued from her demented captor, a kidnapping could quickly turn into a murder scene.
