Love in Saigon (TV)
2005 · Movie · 180 min. · Germany

Sarah, who works as a doctor for an international health organization, leads a difficult life. Always on the road, she must do without the comfort of friends and the security of a real home. What keeps Sarah going is a boundless passion for her work, which she believes she shares with her husband Marc, who also works for the “United Care Organization”. Her passion, though, finds a new meaning when she is assigned to a mission in the steamy jungle of Vietnam… a new passion she could hardly have thought possible amid all the misery and corruption. Now Sarah finds herself trapped between her love for her distant husband and a rapidly blossoming romance with an exotic half-American, half-Vietnamese man whose own passion immerses him in the dangerous work of clearing mines…
