Mystery Crime Based on True Stories

Rope (1948) follows two wealthy college students, Brandon and Phillip, who commit a murder as an intellectual experiment to prove their superiority. They hide the body in their apartment and host a dinner party for the victim's friends and family, using the chest containing the body as a serving table. As the evening progresses, tension builds as their former professor, Rupert, grows suspicious of their behavior.
