Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story, and adapted for Cook Island Maori culture, "The Offshore Pirate," which was produced and edited in 10 days with 100% indigenous talent as part of the Film Raro educational challenge, tells the story of a sheltered rich girl who is kidnapped by modern day pirates, and swept away on a journey of self discovery.
