The Big Kick (S) (1930) follows a group of revenuers who have been relentlessly pursuing a notorious gang of bootleggers for an extended period. The chase intensifies near a gas station run by Harry, a man who appears to be somewhat slow-witted but is supported by a lively and spirited girlfriend. A dramatic shootout erupts between the treasury agents and the bootleggers, who ingeniously transport their illicit liquor in manikins seated in a touring car, right in front of Harry's filling station. As the action unfolds, Harry's girlfriend remains outside while Harry bravely carries the liquor-filled dummies into the station. The question remains: will Harry and his girlfriend receive a reward for their daring actions?
