Lloyd (2001) centers around an 11-year-old boy named Lloyd, known for his humor and mischief, who frequently finds himself in hot water with his educators. The stern Mrs. Crub, notorious for her harsh demeanor, is the teacher who often clashes with Lloyd. When Lloyd attempts to shield a classmate from Mrs. Crub's harsh treatment, he is transferred to a class for students deemed "less enthusiastic." Here, he meets Troy, Carla, and Storm, three other students who are also struggling academically. Lloyd's world changes when Tracey, a charming new student, joins the class, and he instantly falls in love. However, his romantic aspirations are challenged by Storm, the school's rebellious heartthrob. With the support of his mother, younger brother, and an enigmatic magician, Lloyd discovers that self-assurance and self-worth can help him win Tracey's affection.
