The Stepford Children (TV) (1987) follows the Harding family—Steven, Laura, and their children David and Mary—as they relocate to the seemingly idyllic town of Stepford, Connecticut. Steven becomes involved with the local men's club, which has a sinister agenda: transforming their rebellious teenage children into compliant, robotic versions of themselves. These new creations are characterized by their love for homework and their proficiency in big band dancing. Laura, David, and Mary begin to unravel the town's dark secret and must navigate their way through the danger posed by Steven's intentions to assimilate them into the robotic community.
