Me amarás bajo la lluvia (TV Series) (2004) follows the intertwined lives of Julian Zamora, a gifted writer, and Laura Falcon, a rich but melancholic woman. Their paths cross on the fateful day they both purchase rings for their impending nuptials. Tragedy strikes when a gang of robbers, aided by a female employee of the jewelry store, assaults the establishment and murders the jeweler. Julian and Laura are falsely accused of the crimes and are forced to go on the run from the police, mercenaries, and the criminals themselves. As they flee, they not only seek to clear their names with the help of Julian's two eccentric friends but also discover a deepening bond and love for each other, realizing that their former fiancés were not worthy of their affection.
