Too Many Crooks (1959) follows the misadventures of a bumbling gang led by the hapless Fingers. Their initial attempt to rob the wealthy and cunning Billy Gordon ends in failure, as Gordon outsmarts them with ease. Undeterred, the gang decides to kidnap Gordon's daughter but mistakenly abducts his wife, Lucy, instead. To their surprise, Gordon seems delighted by the turn of events, prompting Lucy to take control of the inept criminals and turn the tables on them.
