Torn Curtain (1966) follows an American physicist, Michael Armstrong, who unexpectedly defects to East Germany during the Cold War, leaving his fiancée, Sarah, bewildered and heartbroken. As Sarah follows him behind the Iron Curtain, she begins to suspect his defection may not be what it seems. Amidst a tense atmosphere of espionage and mistrust, the couple navigates a dangerous game of deception, where loyalties are questioned, and every move could be their last.
