Siam Sunset (1999) follows the journey of a British design executive whose life takes an abrupt turn when a refrigerator plummeting from an aircraft tragically strikes his wife. Seeking solace and escape, he embarks on a trip to Australia. During his journey, he encounters a motley crew of eccentric individuals on a bus, including a woman who has absconded with cash from her drug-dealing boyfriend. As the narrative unfolds, it becomes evident that the executive is perpetually accident-prone and frequently finds himself in bizarre circumstances. The film's title alludes to a novel color design that the protagonist is endeavoring to create.
