Elena moves to New York with the dream of becoming a movie actress. She leaves behind her childhood spent in hiding and she also leaves Petra, her seven year old sister. Years later, Petra goes to New York to look for Elena. Slowly, the features of the two sisters are confused; we no longer know one from the other.
