A Lost Year

A Lost Year is the coming of age story of two young provincial women as tof 1976; Matilde who wants to be a dentist and Yolanda who wants to be a singer. Both confront paternal authority, experience the change from adolescence to womanhood, they share the awakening of sex, the struggle against authority, the experience of drugs and political consciousness in a story of friendship and liberation which culminates in the 90's when time brings them back together.
