The Spirit (TV) (1987) follows the story of Denny Colt, a detective from the Central City Police Department who miraculously survives a murder attempt by criminals. The public believes him to be deceased, which he cleverly uses to his advantage. As a presumed dead man, he is free from the constraints that bind ordinary law enforcement officers. Colt transforms an abandoned tomb in a cemetery into his residence and headquarters, setting the stage for his new identity. He becomes the Spirit, a enigmatic crime fighter known for his distinctive attire: a blue business suit, a fedora hat, and a small eye mask. His inaugural major case involves a confrontation with P'Gell, a dangerous femme fatale with nefarious plans for the city.
