Woman Wanted (2000) follows the tale of a woman (Hunter) who takes on the role of a housekeeper for a widower (Moriarty) and his adult son (Sutherland). As she settles into her new position, both men develop deep feelings for her, leading to a complex dynamic within the household. The father, hoping to secure her presence permanently, proposes marriage, much to the dismay of his son, who also harbors romantic feelings for her. The tension between the two men escalates until a pivotal moment when the woman intentionally becomes pregnant. The uncertainty surrounding the paternity, as she has been intimate with both men within a short span of time, forces the two men to confront their animosity and ultimately unite in their shared responsibility for the child.
