Willy/Milly (1986) follows the story of a young girl named Milly who feels stifled by societal expectations and her mother's insistence on traditional feminine behavior. Uninterested in dresses and dances, Milly's life takes an unexpected turn when her best friend's younger brother offers her a magical potion. This potion, when used during a solar eclipse, grants her deepest wish, but it also transforms her physically, giving her male genitals. Faced with this dramatic change, Milly must navigate the complexities of her new identity. Her father, who has always longed for a son, encourages her to explore life as a boy. Milly transitions to a new school and begins her journey as Willy, grappling with the challenges and opportunities that come with her newfound masculinity.
