The Nude Restaurant

"'The Nude Restaurant' presents an extended talk show in a restaurant setting. Warhol’s superstars discuss tabloid topics such as child molestation, the sexual shenanigans of the clergy, frigidity in women, sadomasochism, female dissatisfaction with heterosexual men, gay rights, the hippie movement, the Vietnam War, and draft dodging. As a talk show, the film violates basic tenets of TV culture; not only are the characters partially nude, but the content of 'The Nude Restaurant', of course, would be much too shocking to be broadcast on commercial television." J. J. Murphy.
