Second Fiddle (1939) follows the journey of a dedicated studio publicist, played by Brian Aherne, who stumbles upon a talented skating instructor, Sonja Henie, in the frosty landscapes of Minnesota. Recognizing her potential, he brings her to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. However, the transition to stardom proves challenging for Henie, and she eventually decides to return to her roots in Minnesota. Undeterred, the publicist follows her, determined to help her navigate the complexities of fame and her personal life.
