Wish 143 (S) (2009) follows the story of David, a teenage boy confined to a hospital bed due to a terminal illness. He receives a visit from the Wishman, a mystical figure who grants him the chance to experience extraordinary adventures, such as meeting famous footballers or engaging in thrilling activities, before his time runs out. However, the Wishman is unable to fulfill David's deepest wish—to lose his virginity. A newspaper advertisement fails to yield the desired outcome, but with the help of the hospital's unconventional and compassionate chaplain, David's wish is eventually granted through an encounter with the kind-hearted Maggie.
