Ricky: Nakalnya Anak Muda

Ricky (Ryan Hidayat) is so disturbed by the death of his girlfriend, Sita (Nike Ardilla), in a parachuting accident that he acts out anti-socially; all he does is drive around in his old, open-top jeep, hanging out with his gang and getting into fights. His bad attitude is exacerbated when he discovers that his father is having an affair with his secretary, while his mother is busy giving lectures to the public about juvenile delinquency. Eventually, he gets into a street fight with the older brother of a girl named Lita (Nike Ardilla). He later meets Lita at a softball field, where Ricky plays for one of the teams active there. Lita has just moved with her parents from Garut to Bandung. Lita starts dating Ricky, even though her friends have warned her about his bad reputation. Eventually Lita’s parents find out that she is dating Ricky and intervene in the relationship because they have already betrothed Lita to Bimo (Ade Giuliano), a young engineer of noble heritage. Lita then asks Ricky to help her run away to her grandfather’s house. Her mother then falls ill, and Ricky brings Lita back home, where Lita’s father begins to rethink his opinion of the young man; they start to like each other. Ricky finally introduces Lita to his father, after he has a long talk with the older man and convinces him to stop his affair with the secretary.
